Testimonials

We lived at 84 Brynland Avenue for a term year, and very much enjoyed our stay. Contrary to UWE campus, the house is spacious, in a great location, and the landlord, Richard Thomas was great; he was very helpful, always in contact, and gave us enough of a free rein to enjoy the house to ourselves. Obviously respect for the house is expected in return, but nonetheless, we couldn't have asked for much more from a tenancy, although a pool would've been great!!

After living at 84 Brynland Avenue for a term year I came to realise how being in a house in Bristol could be so much fun. It was spacious, clean, bright, homie, and right on the doorstep of the Bristol scene. Although I pulled the short straw to have the smallest room in the house, I still enjoyed a reasonably sized room, probably a perfectly sized room. It was great having Richard as our landlord; he let us feel like the house was our own, whilst helping us in anything that needed fixing. Being a Uni student I couldn't have asked for anything more; just a shame we couldn't stay there for longer.

84 Brynland Avenue stands out from the average student houses in terms of quality, and it is clear there is an important commitment in keeping it in top condition. It has been a pleasure to live in. Inviting friends over for the first time always resulted in compliments on the house, and in some occasions, some hints of jealousy. Richard has always been keen to help us with our problems, I have texted him many times requiring his help and he responded in a timely fashion. I could not have wished for more from the house or the landlord, the rest is up to you!

Regarding my stay at 84 Brynland Avenue for my 2nd year as a student in Bristol, everything about the house was a great experience. Located almost halfway between campus and the city centre it’s the best of both worlds and a very popular student area, with lots of socialising between student houses. Shop wise there is a great deal of choice just minutes walk away, as well as bike shops and second-hand shops. The house is surprisingly large with very high ceilings, all freshly decorated in light colours so it is really clean, airy and spacious. The kitchen/dining area is very modern and comfortable and there is even a garden. The bedrooms are large with wide comfortable beds and lots of storage. Having two very modern bathrooms means there was no problem about sharing. Richard was always friendly, reasonable and helpful, and his attitude towards us was always positive, an excellent landlord. I really enjoyed the year, thanks Richard!!!

For student accommodation, this was easily the best place we had seen. For a comfortable price, we got a clean, newly furnished, well located house, with a diligent landlord that responded promptly to all of our few maintenance problems. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.
